SpaceOar Vue is an absorbable polyethylene glycol hydrogel spacer that separates the prostate from the rectal wall during radiation treatment for prostate cancer.
Boston Scientific designed SpaceOar to create a temporary space between the prostate and rectum to reduce radiation dose to the rectum and minimize the impact on a patient’s urinary, sexual and bowel functions.
