BD’s Venovo venous stent system is a treatment option for patients with symptomatic iliofemoral venous outflow obstructions.
BD designed the system for the iliofemoral veins to provide an optimal balance between radial force, flexibility and compression resistance. It comes in a broad range of sizes with diameters up to 20 mm and stent lengths up to 160 mm.
Venovo was also a nominee for Prix Galien’s best medical technology award in 2020 and 2021.
BD won FDA approval for the Venovo system in March 2019.
