Siemens Healthineers executive to join Fresenius supervisory board

Zindel will stand for election at Fresenius’ Annual General Meeting on May 13.

A member of Siemens Healthineer’s managing board, Zindel’s responsibilities at the German medtech giant include imaging, advanced therapies, technology excellence, quality and regulatory, the Healthineers Performance System, and sustainability.

Zindel will replace Klaus-Peter Müller, 77, who has been on the Supervisory Board and its Audit Committee since 2008.

BioSig Technologies (NSDQ:BSGM) today announced that it has appointed John Sieckhaus as chief operating officer.

Augmedics adds former J&J, Medtronic executives to leadership positions

Augmedics announced today that it appointed a new independent director to its board and a new chief marketing officer.

Chicago-based Augmedics confirmed that Nadav Tomer will join as an independent director, while Reed Krider will be chief marketing officer (CMO).

Tomer joins with 23 years of global experience, having retired from Johnson & Johnson in January after most recently serving as the global president of spine for J&J’s DePuy Synthes Companies.

Illumina (Nasdaq:ILMN) announced today that it appointed Carissa Rollins as its new chief information officer.

A 30-year veteran of business technology transformation and digital and consumerization strategy, Rollins joins San Diego-based Illumina having most recently served as chief information officer (CIO) at UnitedHealthcare. Her appointment was made effective today.

Rollins’ responsibilities at UnitedHealthcare included strategy and technology investments supporting commercial, Medicare and retirement and government programs technology business portfolios. Former CEO Kevin King to retire from iRhythm’s board of directors

Minnetronix Medical names operations VP

Minnetronix Medical (St. Paul, Minnesota) announced today that it has hired Travis Hintz as its VP of operations.

Hintz was previously the global supply chain director for the personal safety division at 3M. He has also been VP of North America supply chain planning for Ecolab and operations manager at Delphi Automotive Systems.

Cardiovascular Systems appoints chief medical officer

Cardiovascular Systems (NSDQ:CSII) announced today that it appointed Dr. Jeffery W. Chambers as its chief medical officer.

St. Paul, Minnesota-based Cardiovascular Systems said in a news release that Chambers served as the primary investigator for the Orbit II study — the pivotal trial supporting premarket approval for the use of orbital atherectomy in coronary arteries.
