Nanox Imaging announced today that it entered into exclusive distribution agreements for its medical imaging services in Russia and Belarus.
Under the agreement, unnamed distribution partners will commit an annual service fee to Nanox of approximately $48 million over three years, subject to regulatory approval and acceptance test clearance. The commitment is backed by a standby letter of credit in favor of Nanox.
Nanox and the distribution partners are set to collaborate on the deployment and operation of 600 Nanox systems, including the Nanox.Arc and the Nanox.Cloud.
The Nanox systems offer services ranging from 2D x-ray to 3D tomosynthesis-computed tomography. The distribution agreement is aiming to deploy the systems in rural areas for maximum patient outreach while operating them on a pay-per-scan business model at affordable prices for communities of varying socio-economic status.
