Traco Power has launched its new TRV 2M series of 2W DC/DC converters for medical and industrial applications.

The TRV 2M series comes in the compact SIP-9 metal package with reinforced isolation of 5,000 VAC, the company said in a news release.

The series is designed to protect connected interfaces and applied parts to patients with 2XMOPP compliance.

Traco said its TMR 2M series consists of 21 models offering 1.5:1 input ranges of 4.5~7 / 9.6~14.4 / 12~18 / 19.2~28.8 VDC with output voltages of 3.3 / 5 / 12 / 15 / ±5 / ±12 / ±15 V outputs.

Traco Power today announced its new TPP 300 series of 300W high-density AC/DC power supplies.

The 300 series is “available in open frame or fan-enclosed packages for a wide range of medical and industrial applications where long-term reliability is critical and space is limited,” the company said in a news release.

The TPP 300A-M open-frame models measure 2 in. x 4 in. x 1.26 in., while the TPP 300-M enclosed with fan models are 2.44 in. x 4.6 in. x 2.32 in.

Traco said the 300 series achieves efficiencies of 91-93%, depending on the model, and offers 360W peak load power for up to five seconds, 300W continuous power (with forced-air cooling) and up to 180W continuous power (with convection cooling).

Traco Power (Baar, Switzerland) today announced its newest high efficiency, miniaturized AC/DC power supplies: the TPP 180 series for medical and industrial and TPI 180 for industrial.

The power supplies measure only 2-by-3-by-1.24 inches in the open frame version — with global safety approvals for medical or industrial markets. They come in16 standard models with single outputs of 12 / 15 / 18 / 24 / 36 / 48 / 53 V and either open-frame or enclosed packaging.

Traco Power today announced it has launched its THM 60WI series of quarter brick DC-DC converters.

The San Jose, California-based company designed the DC-DC converters with ultra-wide input ranges and safety approvals for medical and industrial applications.

Traco Power’s THM 60WI series of converters consists of 12 models with 9-75 or 18-75 Vin ranges with single and dual outputs of 5.1, 12, 15, 24, ±12 or ±15 V with up to 92% efficiency, according to the company.

Traco Power (San Jose, Calif.) recently announced the company’s new TMW series of 24- and 36-W power supplies.

The new power supplies are IP68 rated and fully encapsulated — with flexible options for PCB or chassis mounting for the medical and industrial markets.

The TMW Series were also designed for flush box-mounting to support IoT and home/building automation markets. All models are supported by a global safety approval package.

TMW 24 (24 W models) offer 5, 12 or 24 V single outputs, and TMW 36 (36 W models) offer 12 or 24 V single outputs. All models have a compact footprint of 2.1 x 2.1 in. They’re available with flying leads or PCB mount through-hole connections (Suffix P) that are fully encapsulated in a dust-resistant, waterproof IP68 housing.

Traco Power recently unveiled its 1 W, TRV 1M series of high isolation DC/DC converters.

The converters come in a compact SIP-9 package and provide 5kVAC I/O isolation with reinforced insulation for both medical and industrial applications.

The series includes 28 models offering a choice of 4.5-5 / 9.6-14.4 / 12-18 / 19.2-28.8 Vin ranges and single/dual outputs from 3.3 V – 15 V.

Traco Power said the converters are especially suited to protect any connected interfaces or applied parts to patients — with continuous short circuit protection and low leakage current of less than 2 µA.

The converters feature semi-regulated outputs, with –40 to +85 °C operating temperature without derating and certifications according to IEC/EN/ES 60601-1 3rd ed. for 2xMOPP and IEC/EN/UL 62368-1.
