New M1 MedTech accelerator opens applications for first cohort

The program — sponsored by contract research organization Proxima Clinical Research, based in Houston’s Texas Medical Center — said it has closed its first fund and wants “five to seven of the most promising early-stage medical device companies” for the three-month program.

M1 MedTech will select companies this summer for investments of up to $100,000 in the form of cash and in-kind services. The program’s coaching includes “a curated educational program, interactive workshops where participants can continually build out specific company deliverables, and tailored one-on-one mentoring,” M1 MedTech said in a news release.

JMI Equity invests $120M in Greenlight Guru

Greenlight Guru announced that it has received a roughly $120 million investment from JMI Equity to support further development and sales growth for its medical device quality management software.

The news comes half a year after Indianapolis-based Greenlight Guru launched its AI-powered Halo for Change Management, which provides recommendations of items impacted by a change order and real-time visibility to discover, assess and manage the impact of a change.

Greenlight Guru announced that it has received a roughly $120 million investment from JMI Equity to support further development and sales growth for its medical device quality management software.

Greenlight Guru (Indianapolis) recently announced that it’s added an AI and machine learning recommendation engine to its medical device quality management software platform.

The newly launched Halo for Change Management provides recommendations of items impacted by a change order and real-time visibility to discover, assess and manage the impact of a change, according to Greenlight Guru.
