Design firm Delve makes first acquisition under new owner

Delve announced its acquisition of Boston-based digital innovation and design firm Altr this week.

Madison, Wisconsin–based Delve said Altr is its first acquisition under the ownership of private equity firm Trinity Hunt Partners, which purchased Delve in May 2021 and merged it with product design consultancy firm Bresslergroup.

“Almost two years ago to the day, we announced our intention to build a company that could be considered the world’s best end-to-end product innovation firm,” Delve President Andrew Weiman said in a news release yesterday. “With Altr, we take another giant step forward. Much more to come.”

Merged Delve and Bresslergroup and operating under Delve name

Delve and Bresslergroup announced today that they united under the Delve brand name a year since the two merged.

Since the companies announced their merger a year ago, their 200-plus strategists, designers and engineers have united to serve clients through both of their processes and culture, according to a news release.

Delve is aggressively expanding its capabilities around healthcare, medical devices, commercial/industrial and consumer industries, the company said. Since last year’s merger, the company has hired 48 experts, garnered 41 new clients, completed 319 projects for brands and seen its clients launch innovative new products across a range of industries.

Delve and Bresslergroup are merging

Delve and Bresslergroup recently announced that they will merge their innovation consulting firms to create a new partner company within the Trinity Hunt Partners portfolio.

Bresslergroup (Philadelphia) and Delve (Madison, Wis.) are experts in new product definition, design and development, from initial strategy through implementation. They boast Fortune 500 clients in the healthcare, consumer, commercial and transportation industries.

“Bresslergroup and Delve bring similar backgrounds, philosophies, and approaches to the way we run our businesses,” Bresslergroup managing partner Andrew Weiman said in a May 18 news release.

“We both have roots in design, engineering, and development, and have similarly transformed over time to meet the evolving needs of our clients, including digital experience and software design and development,” Weiman said.
