Currier Plastics has purchased a 71,000 ft² building to expand its capacity for healthcare customers.

The Auburn, New York-based plastics manufacturer has already started building out the former TRW Automotive plant in Aurelius, New York. Construction is expected to be done in Q1 2023.

The building will have 25,000 ft² of ISO Class 8 cleanroom space, plus expanded space for Currier’s quality and R&D operations.

The custom injection and blow molding plastic company cited growing demand for plastic healthcare consumables, driven primarily by changes in the in-vitro diagnostics, point-of-care and life science markets.
