Quasar Engineering announced that it acquired TE Connectivity subsidiary Creganna Medical.
Through the acquisition of Creganna, which constitutes TE Connectivity’s medical operations in Singapore, Quasar aims to expand its footprint in Asia, complement its capabilities and add an experienced team in Singapore, which it considers an important global medical device hub.
“I am very excited to welcome the new capabilities that the Singapore team will bring to Quasar” Quasar Medical CEO Alex Wallstein said in a news release. “The addition of the Singapore operation strengthens Quasar Medical as one of the leading suppliers for the minimally-invasive interventional segment and broadens our value proposition to our customers.
“We look forward to invest and further grow capacity in Singapore and extend a warm welcome to the 120 employees of the Singapore operation.”
