Boston Centerless announced today that it opened a second manufacturing plant in Fort Wayne, Indiana.Woburn, Massachusetts-based Boston Centerless said in a news release that the latest expansion for the supplier of precision ground bar materials for close tolerance CNC Swiss machining applications represents continued robust growth in key market segments in the Midwest and Western U.S.
The new facility substantially increases both manufacturing and distribution capacity, Boston Centerless said. It adds over 16,000 additional square feet and state-of-the-art equipment. The raw materials in stock at the new plant facilitates reduced lead times to customers in that part of the country, while precision grinding, straightening and bar end chamfering services are provided.
