“I received my education in Moscow, Russia,” said Svetlana Contrada, product development manager at Berry Global. “I pursued my Ph.D. while working as a research associate at Moscow Research Institute for Plastics. After receiving the doctorate degree in 1992, I secured a contract with DSM in the Netherlands to continue research in the field of polymeric materials. In 1996, I moved to the USA and accepted a position as a polymer scientist in Princeton Polymer Labs.”

“I joined Permacel, a Nitto Denko Company as R&D Product Developer in 1998, and became a first time manager in 2000. I was with Permacel for 11 years leading Specialty Tape Development. While working full time, I pursued an MBA degree in Strategic Management from Rutgers University, and graduated in 2010 with Beta Gamma Sigma award.”
