The process involves using conventional ethylene oxide (EtO) gas to sterilize medical devices before they are out for distribution to healthcare facilities. Technology plays a major role in preventing the sterilant from reaching pharmaceutical products. This is made possible by reducing the concentration and residual levels during the process.
