DymaxDymax today announced a new North American distribution partnership with PVA.

Torrington, Connecticut-based Dymax — which develops rapid and light-curable materials, dispensing equipment and UV/LED curing systems for the medical device industry and others — said the agreement with PVA covers adhesives, maskants and conformal coatings.

Founded in 1992 as Precision Valve & Automation, Cohoes, New York-based PVA is a global supplier of automated dispensing and coating systems with nine locations in North America. PVA’s automated systems are commonly used to apply Dymax materials to printed circuit boards, medical devices, consumer electronics and other applications.

The new sales partnership “bridges the gap between robotics and formulations, bringing customers a single source for automated dispense, coating, curing and materials solutions,” Dymax said in a news release.

“Our relationship with PVA will help expand our reach to critical OEM manufacturers in the medical device, telecommunications, and electronics industries that may not be aware of Dymax’s 40 years of experience creating innovative formulated light-curable materials,” Dymax Chief Commercial Officer Jason Maupin said in the news release.
